Welcome to ArtLab ("we," "our," or "us"), a product created and developed in Ukraine. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our AI image generation platform.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address
• Display name (optional)
• Profile avatar (optional)
• Account creation timestamp
• Country you signed up from, derived from your IP address

2.2 Usage Data

When you use our service, we collect:

• Text prompts you submit for image generation
• Negative prompts and generation parameters (aspect ratio, style presets, seed values)
• Images you upload for image-to-image transformations
• Generated images and their metadata
• Generation timestamps and history
• Credit balance and usage history
• Answers you give in our onboarding quiz

2.3 Payment Information

Payments are processed by monobank (JSC Universal Bank, Ukraine) on its own secure payment page. monobank collects your card or wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay) details there.

We never see or store your card number. We only receive the payment status, amount and invoice ID, which we keep as a record of your purchase.

2.4 Automatically Collected Information

• IP address
• Browser type and version
• Device information
• Referring URLs
• Pages visited, time spent and actions taken on the site

We collect this through Google Analytics and PostHog, and use it only in aggregate to understand how the site is used.

2.5 Accounts Created on Your Behalf

If you bought another product from us or our partners and agreed to hear about related products, we may create an ArtLab account for your email address and send you a sign-in link. The account holds only your email until you use it. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and maintain our AI image generation service
• Process your image generation requests
• Manage your account and credit balance
• Process payments and prevent fraud
• Send service-related notifications
• Send product offers where you have agreed to receive them (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• Improve the quality of the Service
• Analyze usage patterns to enhance user experience
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not train AI models on your prompts, uploads or generated images.

4. Public Images

Images you generate are private by default. If you make an image public, it appears in the community gallery and on its own public page, together with its prompt, and search engines may index it. You can make it private again at any time; search engines may take some time to drop it.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using:

• Supabase: For user accounts, profiles, generation metadata, generated images and uploaded content
• Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest

We implement industry-standard security measures including Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure users can only access their own data.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Authentication and database hosting
• Replicate: Runs the AI models; your prompts and uploaded images are sent to it to generate results
• monobank (JSC Universal Bank): Payment processing
• Vercel: Website hosting
• Google Analytics and PostHog: Website analytics
• Our email provider: Sending sign-in, service and support emails

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing their use of your data.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Generated images remain in your account until you delete them. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we need to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and associated data (by emailing us)
• Export your data
• Opt-out of marketing communications
• Withdraw consent where applicable

ArtLab is operated from Ukraine, and our service providers (Supabase, Replicate, Vercel, Google, PostHog) may process your data in the European Union, the United States or other countries outside your residence. We rely on these providers' standard contractual safeguards to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
